Library Academy
Hi,
I'm Ester de Broize, Faculty Librarian at UJ. I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time about the Library Academy, but looking forward to the two weeks in Stellenbosch and learning alot of new things.

Message to all of you attending October 2010 RLC Librarians on the move
I am so excited that you have been able to attend the RLC Academy. I was part of the first group to attend in 2007 and it was such a great experience. All I can tell you is that go for it, dont be shy to ask questions, take out what is on your mind, just empty & refill your brain now and again. My experience is that when you come back you will be overwhelmed with ideas looking forward to plough back to your library. You may not be able to do everything as you like but make sure you start something, watch it growing. Do it while your brain is still energetic and hot......... This gives you an opportunity to be a better person with more knowlegde and skills " Knowledge is Power"
