The Third Day
I am just bowled over by the presenters - we are so fortunate to have be exposed to people like Prof Stan du Plessis (US) and Lisa Kane (UCT) who had really good things to say about libraries and the support they get. As well as some practical "stuff" we can take back to our institutions. This afternoon's session with Shamiema McLeod was different, but worthwhile - it is always very difficult to expose oneself!

3rd day amazing! presenters very good, especially Kisa Kane, as a woman she inspired so many other women but also inspired all of us, we learned a lot from her. We as librarians should go out and make the first contact with new and existing academics, and not wait for them to come to us or contact us first. From Shamiemah i learned again that life is all about choices we make every day, we choose also what to thing, negative or positive, and i just want to be more aware of this every day of my life. Thank you to RLC for this wonderful opportunity!
